Originally this was an email, now it’s a story. You must read. You must plan on being there.
So the Jackass movie opens on Oct. 25. This also happens to be Amy’sbirthday. Coincidence?
Probably.
At any rate, after the delicious time some of us had at American Pie IIsmuggling brews into the theatre it seems time for our sequel. Myproposal:
Plan A:
I say we all take Amy out for her 25th birthday Friday, Oct. 25. I proposewe start the evening off with a few cocktails at my place (I will commit tofinishing my bar by then and having it fully stocked, but ONLY if youcommit to coming!) Then we catch a showing of Jackass. It doesn’t matterwhether you’ve seen the show on MTV or not. No exposition or background isneeded. No prior knowledge will save you. The bold can bring drinks withthem to the theatre for enhanced viewing pleasure. After the movie, we hitthe bars and treat Amy to a night on the town. The landing sounds fun.
Sound like too much drinking? Good.
Plan B:
That’s entirely too much for one night. Instead, I say we take Amy out fordinner on Friday night. After dinner we’ll have an armor of protein in ourbelly and will be prepared to tackle the landing, loop, west end, orwhatever comes our way. Saturday night, we’ll go see Jackass after a fewcocktails at my place.
Please vote on which plan you prefer. I have my vote in my head but don’twant to influence yours.
Oh, and if you don’t drink or don’t want to drink, no problem. You canlaugh at those who do. And we could probably use you for driving.
