Might also be fun to come up with an original and signature drink for our bar. Ryan likes the name “Screaming Bastard” as a mixed drink name but we have no idea what would be in it. Come to think of it, “Screaming Bastard” wouldn’t be a bad name for the bar…Or maybe along those lines….”The Flaming Gorfin”.
So far I’m liking Blokes most as the bar name. The Screaming Bastard defintely has a ring to it, but you might not always want to invite people to it (some people get offended easily). Then again, you might want to make two base drinks, the Bastard and the Gorfin, and then have the Screaming Bastard and the Flaming Gorfin as (popular) variants of them. Then again, it’d be nice to be able to call for a Bastard as a shorthand for a Screaming Bastard. And these are just names. I have no idea what to put in these things to make then 1) distinctive and 2) taste good.
Yeah, that’s the real trick: coming up with the ingredients to an original and good-tasting drink. We do have a bar-tender’s guide now, which Ryan bought….we coul d use that for some ideas….
