Okay, the book discussion will take place this Thursday at 8pm at my house. Sorry for all the rescheduling; it’s been hard to find a day that works for everyone.

In addition to the discussion, some of us we’ll be meeting earlier (6pm) to cook and enjoy a meal together. We’d like to get into a regular habit of doing this before the book discussion.

Subject: menu for Thursday night...
Adam and I have worked out a menu for Thursday night. Adam has a recipe for a
tomato sauce with green, red, and yellow peppers to be served over linguine. We'd
serve that with a caesar salad and garlic bread. And I'm going to see if I can
get my mom's cheesecake recipe for dessert. Adam and I will take care of bringing
the ingredients for the pasta and dessert. So we need volunteers for the
following:
(i've already got garlic powder (and crushed fresh garlic), and parmesan
cheese)
caesar salad (romaine lettuce, dressing, croutons)
garlic bread (french bread, butter)
bottle of red wine (needn't be large..we'll just have one small glass with dinner)
For those who are interested in dinner on Thursday, try to arrive at my place
around 6pm. Also, if you could let me know if you're coming to dinner ahead of
time, that would help us prepare the right amount of food.
Feel free to come to just the dinner, just the discussion (which should start
around 8pm), or both.

  1. Would you please post your Mom’s cheescake recipe here [www.planetdrown.com]?

  2. I’ll see what I can do…she’s pretty secretive about a lot of her recipes…sometimes she won’t even give them to me! :)
