Today I accepted an offer from VistaWiz, a small internet security startup. My title will be Linux Application Developer and initially I’ll be doing some front-end work for their network appliance. I’ll miss the folks at BJC but I think this is a good opportunity for me. I’m excited.

congratulations. I always find it interesting how people find new jobs. Did you use any websites, word of mouth, classified, etc? Always looking for good recomendations when it comes to job searching.
Thanks.

Thanks, everyone.
Rebecca: you betcha!
Jason: Actually I posted my resume on monster.com and they contacted me wanting to talk. It all happened rather fast. I met with two of their developers last Wednesday and was offered the job on Monday. So I’m not sure what you’ve tried, but I’d definitely recommend putting your resume on monster and other such sites like careerbuilder.com. Also go through the job searches and submit your resume to the jobs that you are interested in. Good luck!
