Last night I met with the VistaWiz developers, otherwise known as the “whizzies”. It was a very informative meeting. I learned a bit about how embedded systems work including failover in the flash. We talked about our own Linux distribution based off Fedora init scripts and using the RPM package format. Warren will be setting up bugzilla and CVS soon and we should be ready to rock. My first task is to see if SQLite will be an adequate replacement for MySQL for our configuration data. We need something small and robust for our embedded base.

Have no clue what you are talking about but I’m glad you will be happier at a new job!
