My day was pretty productive for a first day at a new company. I arrived at the office in Westport shortly before nine. Started out by installing Fedora Core 1 on the PC that I’ll be using until my notebook arrives (probably Friday). Saw that FC1 ran nicely on my co-worker’s notebook (same model), so that was encouraging.
Once I had a working system I migrated the php code and database to my machine and began to dig in. Good times. Currently we’re hacking out of the same office as CDM Fantasy Sports and Primary.net’s datacenter. On April 3rd we’ll be moving to a new office just a short jog away.
