I finally got my copy of Mono: A Developer’s Notebook today. It shipped over a week ago and I had been wondering why it hadn’t arrived. Today I checked the tracking information which claimed it had been delivered two days ago…which of course made me worried that somehow it had been stolen off my porch or something. When I arrived home from work today I looked all over and finally spotted a package underneath the long welcome mat. Whew. After skimming through the book it seems to be full of really excellent easy to follow examples which should easily get a Mono-newcomer up to speed quickly. I look forward to reading it in depth.
