Anyone who says baseball isn’t an exciting sport didn’t watch the Boston/Yankees game last night. It featured brilliant pitching by an injured Schilling who after the game attributed the performance to a miracle from God. The Yankees made it a close game and on more than one occasion the umpires got together and made the right call in critical situations. The awful Yankee fans responded by throwing baseballs on the field and the umpires, fearing for their lives, called in dozens of police with riot gear. Does it get any better than that? Oh, and Boston became the first Major League baseball team ever to come back from a 3-0 deficit to force a game 7. Maybe God isn’t a Yankees fan afterall.

Stay tuned this afternoon for the Cards/Astros game at 4pm Eastern. We’re not going to go without a fight. 17 years is too long to go without making it to the World Series for a franchise with this rich a history.

  1. I have to agree. Last night’s game between Boston and NY was great… I still believe Yankee fans are rude, and it shows when the police have to come on the field with riot gear. I think both games tonight are going to be very exciting!

  2. couldn’t agree more, but what do you expect from a Sox fan? i tend to think most sports - baseball included - are more interesting the more you know about them, but i think everyone would find this series interesting.

i’m pulling for the Cards, BTW. hope to see u in the series ;)

  3. Go CARDS!!!!!!!!!1
