You’ve been stumbling round
This tumbleweed town
Like a bird with a broken wing
Walking wounded
Head hanging down
Running like a thief

Still ringing loud in your ears
You’ve been riding freight trains
That never arrive
Traveling your own trail of tears

But even when you’re wandering blind
You are still not lost, my friend
You can run
But you never can [...]

Last night I finished up a patch to the gaim-remote plugin so that I can send aim URIs to set myself away, such as:
gaim-remote uri “aim:goaway?message=having a beer at mcgurks”

Added to that a little procmail recipe with some Perl glue and now I can change my gaim away message from my mobile phone. Also [...]

There is a line from a rather bad poem I wrote as a teenager which goes like this:

somnolent i gaze
perceiving the chaos.
lassitude: my only elation,
all i feel is enervation.

There is a line from a poem by Anne Bronte which goes like this:

I have gone backward in the work,
The labour has not sped,
Drowsy and dark my [...]

Micah and Pierce were brilliant on Friday. When I have more time I’ll share some lyrics that hit me.

I played in Ray’s holdem tournament Saturday afternoon. Held out for a while, but ultimately didn’t do well. I hate antes. Give me just the blinds any day.

Saturday evening I went [...]
