You are Wallace Stevens. You love everything,
especially the sound of things. Too bad you
are so obscure that at times even you don’t
understand what the hell you have written.

This is who I am…
You are Wallace Stevens. You love everything, especially the sound of things. Too bad you are so obscure that at times even you don’t understand what the hell you have written.
Are there actually any other poets listed???
Since we are on the subject I have a couple of poems on the Poetry.com website. Look under Stephanie L. Bell there are 4 titles under my name that you can click on…
Bell, Stephanie L
- A Wishful Prayer
- A World Without…
- Dear Grandma
- The sweetest Prayer
I don’t claim to be a great poet, but I know that I enjoy reading other people’s poems.

Yeah, I wondered the same thing, but I went through and gave some different answers to the questions and got a different poet. I’ll check out your poetry sometime, Stephanie. I haven’t written much new in probably 6 years, but you can read some of my old poetry I wrote back in high school. I also do not claim to be a good poet.

Hi. I’m one of Steph’s friends. And apparently I’m also:
John Ashbery. People love your work but have no idea why, really. You are respected by all kinds of scholars and poets. Even artists like you.
Interesting…

Stephanie: your poems are rather good. Do you still write? I’ve been starting to get inspired to begin writing again. I’ve been reading some literature blogs lately and it’s lit a fire under my ass (pardon that image). If anyone wants to go hang out at The Grind sometime and read, write, and converse, let me know.
Jan: Thanks for dropping by. Now I’ll go and see what this John Ashbery fellow is all about.

Jamin, I love the image of a fire under your ass, even without the fire.

I am Marianne Moore. I don’t think I’ve heard of her before. I’ll have to check her poetry out.
