She says, for example, “Note: Impact is not a verb.”, yet according to dictionary.com, it has been a verb since 1601 — even though many people hate this.
So it’s really “10 grammatical constructions I, Jody, don’t happen to like.”

Thats a pretty good list. I could of used it more then once in high school, I’m sure. Your quite kind for posting it up for us.

“Different than” is quite acceptable in US English, though.
