Stephanie and I went to Chicago this past weekend for Pitchfork Music Festival.

Before it got too crowded

Trying to stay cool

Good pizza

Downtown

The Bean

Taking a photo of the bean

Stephanie perpendicular with herself

A fountain

Signature Room in the John Hancock

Sipping a cocktail, I had this view from the Signature

Same beach, 96 stories lower

I took a lot more pictures, but most of them are repetitive photos of large crowds at Pitchfork. Tiring, but fantastic weekend. Tips learned from a friend and resident (Thanks Phil!)

  1. Signature room in the John Hancock Center: best free view of Chicago?
  2. megabus (next time, perhaps)
  3. apparently Stephanie and I went to all the wrong bars

  1. That room would scare the living crap out of me. Something about a couple millimeters of molten sand just doesn’t give me a feeling of security. What floor was it on?

  2. 96th floor. :)

  3. IMHO, the best free view of Chicago….. Womens restroom, observation deck, John Hancock building.

  4. Hey Jamin,
Really cool pics… Looks like you guys had a lot of fun. my fav pic Downtown and looking down from the 96th floor. :)

Uhhh, did you have fun? If so; those weren’t the wrong bars. There is too much hype about certain bars in Chicago. Its about the environment; if the bar matchs what you seek; great.
