  1. Take a picture of yourself right now.
  2. Don’t change your clothes, don’t fix your hair…just take a picture.
  3. Post that picture with NO editing.
  4. Post these instructions with your picture.

After quite a long blogging hiatus, I’ve finally gotten around to fixing the issues with my WordPress database, upgrading to 2.6, and settling on a theme I like.

Now that the annoying stuff is out of the way, I should be writing posts more frequently. Stay tuned…

On a side note, this is my 500th post on this blog. Perhaps I needed that hiatus after all.

On my other blog I’ll be writing a series of articles in November on improving your memory. I’m also giving away a classic book on the subject. It’s bloody easy to win: just head over to Memory Month Contest and post a comment.

This weekend we celebrated Dan and Colin’s birthdays with a barbecue and a night of karaoke. Stellar.

I’m launching a new blog today: wondr.net. This won’t replace my current blog which will remain as my personal journal. The content on the new site will be for a wider audience and of a less personal nature. I hope to also have some guest bloggers in the not-too-distant future. So what is this new blog, you ask? Well..think of it as a less ambitious mix of BoingBoing, Lifehacker, and wikiHow–basically stuff I think is cool with a focus on great designs, tips to be more frugal with time and money, and neat tools.
